In this July 1, 2014 photo, an envelope and nine pages of a letter that was written and mailed in 1931 are displayed in Skowhegan, Maine. Miriam McMichael, 23, sent the letter from Houlton, Maine, to her mother Dollena McMichael, in Pittsfield, Maine. Both women have since died. The letter was recently found at the Pittsfield post office. The postmaster and town officials located Dollenarsquo granddaughter Ann McMichael in Cornville, and delivered the letter.
