What you said was actually very reasonable. But, think on this, what if you added a little information? I ain't saying your information is not solid, however what if you added a post title that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write post headlines to get viewers to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it could make your website a little bit more interesting.
