It s good to see the community come out together for that. I mean, just seeing all the different walks of life, all the different races, and all the diversity of everyone walking together, said local dad Keith Francis. I decided to be a part of it so that I can not only showcase what the NAACP is for, but what Martin Luther King did today, and I feel like that that should be spread more, said NAACP member Ida Thomas.The walk started at City Hall and continued with a community celebration at the MLK Youth Center. Uhde, the man accused of shooting and killing former Juneau County Circuit Court Judge John Roemer, died Tuesday after being in critical condition for four days, acco stanley cup rding to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Uhde, 56, was declared legally brain-dead at 9:41 a.m. Saturday and his body remained on life-support until Tuesday to allow for organ donation, the release said.Judge Roemer, 68, was killed Friday in a New Lisbon, Wisconsin, home, the state Justice Department said in a statement. Uhde was identified as a suspect, and was stanley de found in the basement of the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the state DOJ.It was later revealed th stanley taza at Uhde had been sentenced to prison by the judge more than 15 years ago, court documents show. Uhde pleaded guilty to burglary-armed with a dangerous weapon, possession of a short-barreled shotgun/rifle, felony possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor of carrying a concealed weapon, according to a judgment of conviction from November 10, 2005, obtained by CNN. He was sentenced to six years in prison followed by nine years of extended supervision, according to the judgment of conviction.
