Whether pursuing a degree in STEAM, healthcare, education, business, or the humanities, st stanley termoska udents who meet the eligible criteria are welcome to apply. While current high school seniors are the primary audience, undergraduate students currently pursuing a bachelors degree at an accredited, post-secondary educational institution are also encouraged to apply.聽 Last year, we awarded $783,000 to 102 amazing students from Northern New Mexico t stanley quencher o support them in their pursu stanley france it of undergraduate degrees, said LANL Foundation Scholarship Program Manager Mike Ammerman. These talented and diverse young people all share a commitment to academic achievement, leadership, and service to their communities. Our scholarship committee is deeply inspired by this next generation of leaders, and we look forward to meeting this years applicants! 聽Awards range from $1,000 to $20,000 for students from Northern New Mexico pursuing undergraduate degrees in any field of study. One application enables students to be considered for more than 30 scholarship opportunities. Clark/ladailypostFrom the Office of the Land Commisioner:SANTA FE 鈥?Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard has appointed four key staff to assist in executing a bold agenda for the land office.The new hires include General Counsel and three Assistant Commissioners for Mineral Resources, Commercial Resources, and Communications.On the job for just a month, Commissioner Garcia Richard has begun to implement her key initiatives, including issuing an Executive Order to ban killing contests on state trust land, requesting land office budget increases to create an stanley usa Office of Renewable Energy, pushing House Bill 398 to raise stanley quencher the royalty rate that the land office receives on future oil and gas leases, and becoming the first Commissioner in history to publicly and proudly support HJR 1, a constitutional amendment to fund early childhood education initiatives. As Commissioner and with the assistance of the talented new staff we have hired, as well as the staff that has been here for years, the land office will push a bold agenda. We are just getting started on leveraging the mandate of this office to raise more money for the beneficiaries of our state trust lands.
